About Us
Dr. Vimla Rajan
Dr. Vimla Rajan was born in the heart of Old Delhi and after schooling in Indraprastha School, she did her M.B.B.S. from Lady Hardinge Medical College. Right from childhood she dreamed of being a Surgeon.
In 1966 she went to England and pursued that dream to finish her surgical training and become a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (F.R.C.S). After that she worked in prestigious units of Plastic Surgery in U.K. such as Great Ormond Street Hospital and Roehampton and having gained a wealth of experience came back to India in 1973. Since then has been practising the art of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery in Delhi.
In 1982, she went to Paris and learnt the art of Liposuction from the Masters –Dr. Illouz. She has been the pioneer of liposuction and Aesthetic breast surgery work in India. Attending all important international conferences she has kept herself well informed of the latest advancements in her field and continues to do so.
She operates at Sama Hospital and East West Medical Center. Her clinic is at L-21 Green Park [Main] and timings are from Monday to Friday between 5-7 pm.
Gardening is her other passion and she excels at this too.
Dr. Ruchika Rajan
Dr Ruchika Rajan was born and brought up in New Delhi. She did her schooling from Convent of Jesus and Mary School and then did her M.B.B.S. from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore one of the top medical colleges in India. She did her internship and junior residency from Safdarjang Hospital then moved to United Kingdom to pursue her surgical training.
She successfully completed her general surgical training and passed the M.R.C.S. examination and is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
She then went on to specialise in the field of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and trained in the South-West region in Bristol and Plymouth. She completed her training, passed the intercollegiate examination to become a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in the speciality of Plastic Surgery.
She has now moved back to India after 13 years in the UK. After working in Medanta as Attending Consultant she has now set up her own practice and operates at Sama Hospital, Max Panchsheel and East West Medical Center.

We are a mother daughter Plastic Surgical team who specialise in Aesthetic/Cosmetic Surgery. Our approach is to give our patient personalised attention and then advise them as to the treatment which best suits them. Both of us trained in United Kingdom and are Fellows of the Royal College of Surgeons.
